Tools Needed

Small Trowel/spade, wooden fixing pegs (Dependant on how long your roll is), a rubber mallet, hammer

Materials Needed

Wood screws and log roll

Digging a trench

Before digging make sure you know the height measurement of your log roll edging to ensure that you get the correct depth, start digging your trench with a standard spade or trowel, depth will depend on the measurements. You need to guarantee you have the correct depth in your trench; you can do this by using a fixing peg and checking the depth all around. (Make sure to mark them with the depth you need)

Inserting the fixing pegs

Using the rubber mallet you can insert your fixing peg, allow about 20-30 mm’s away trenches’ edge

Your log roll

Put a particle amount of log roll into the trench, hammer the edging into the soil until you reach your wanted depth.

Fixing your edging

Now you need to fix the edging to the fixing pegs, fix 2 of your wood screws into the front of your fixing peg.

Topping it off

Top any gaps with your edging with soil for strength.
