Marking the Trellis Position

Using string, mark out the line where you wish your trellis to go on your fence posts, to fix the string to the post's screw a screw into the post and tie the string around it

Measuring for the Trellis

Now you have marked the position for where your trellis will be install you will need to measure between each fence post to determine the length of trellis and how much you're going to need.

Cutting the Trellis

To cut the trellis you will need to take a tape measure and pencil and mark of the correct measurement. Now take your hand saw and cut the trellis at the correct marking that you've marked.

Installing the Trellis

Now you're ready to install the trellis, simply offer the trellis up between the two fence posts and as long as you have measured and cut the trellis correctly you should be able to wedge the trellis in place whilst you grab yourself a couple of screws and your drill. Taking your time slowly screw in the screws into the trellis going into the fence post to gain a nice tight fit and repeat this 4 times for each piece of trellis, one at the top and one at the bottom of the trellis each side.
