Sowing the Seeds

To guarantee a more reliable germination, sow the seeds over a cover, this can also assist in avoiding soil pests. Space your seeds out around 3 inches apart to avoid overcrowding.

After Care

When the young bean appears at the base of the plant, remove the top with two leaves attached, this is known as Pinching. As the plants develope they will need to be staked to prevent their fragile stems bending and breaking

Harvesting

When picking, begin from the bottom working you're way up, you can continue to frequently harvest them. Beans can be eaten whole when they reach the size of an average finger, or you can wait for the pod to burst and harvest the fully ripe beans inside
