Prepare a pot of multipurpose compost, then insert your seed so it stands vertically. Water your seed, and allow the water to drain. Then place indoors, preferably on a warm windowsill.
Growing Your Courgettes
After around a month, you will be able to plant them outside, it is recommended to use a plant pot, or plant directly into the ground. There are various alternatives you can research. Before you plant them outside, begin placing them outside in a sheltered area during the daytime and then bringing them back inside on a evening, this will help them develop before going outside.
Harvesting
The courgette needs to be harvest at least once a week in peak season, once they reach around 10cm high, use a sharp knife to cut the vegetable from the plant.
