Seeds are recommended to be sewn in early spring, ensure the soil is warm to avoid rotting. Cover the soil with polythene.
Sowing the Seeds
The seeds will be sown in a trench around six inches deep, however the trench will need to be watered first. Sow them in a depth of around two inches, and separated around two inches apart.
For a succession of peas use a interval of a fortnight.
Harvesting
The peas will need to be picked regularly. Always begin harvesting from the bottom of the tree. After the plant is harvested, avoid pulling the plant due to the nitrogen fixing bacteria. Instead, cut the stem at ground level.
