Seeds, Plant Fertiliser and Compost.
Preparation
The best method is to prepare the soil in spring, remove anything from the soil which could affect the plants and add plenty of compost.
Before you begin to do this you will want to consider wearing boots, a mask and goggles to prevent anything from getting into your body and causing harm from the soil.
Sowing the Seeds
To sow chard makes dig a trench a few inches deep, space the seeds with a recommendation of 10 cm apart from each other, cover the seeds and water.
Maintenance
After the seeds have grown, give the strongest grown seeds plenty of room for them to grow, the spacing between them will needed a recommended rough 40 cm apart from each other to have enough space.
Remember what whilst you are growing the spinach you need to keep the soil around it completely free of stones and weeds, do regular checks to ensure that your seeds will grow properly, you will also want to add fertiliser to allow more nutrients.
The Harvest
After about 12 weeks your spinach will be ready to pick, if you pick the leaves constantly it will stimulate more leaves to grow allowing you to get more spinach after growth.
