Plant Pot, Seed Compost, Clear Film, Seeds and a Water Supply.
Preparing the Soil
Before you can begin plating your seeds, the soil needs to be healthy. Fill your plant pot with seed compost. Water the compost and allow it to drain.
Sowing the Seeds
Gently place your seeds on top of your plant pot. Sprinkle a thin layer of compost on top of the seeds without disturbing them.
Covering the Pots
To create a mini-propagator to keep compost damp and aid germination, cover each pot with clean film.
After Care
To encourage germination keep your tomatoes in direct sunlight, the ideal temperature is around 20°-25°C.
Harvesting
You can begin picking your tomatoes after two months since you planted your seeds, you can continue to harvest until winter. A tomato is ripe when the vine has turned red, and the tomatoes colour is even.
To pick tomatoes, twist them firmly until they snap off the vine, you can also use a knife to cut the stem close to the fruit.
