Step 2: Preparing the Wall For Fixing

Using the hammer drill and the 10mm drill bit, drill each mark 60mm deep and with the back end of the drill lifted approximately 5 degrees (lift handle of the drill 20mm while drilling). Insert the grey rawl plugs and push in until they are flush with the wall.

Step 3: Fixing The Shelf

Screw the bracket into the rawl plugs using 10mm open ended spanner or adjustable. Slide the shelf half way onto the brackets and adjust by rotating the brackets using 10mm spanner. Once level push the shelf all the way onto the brackets.

Tools Needed

Pencil, Spirit Level, Tape Measure, Hammer Drill, 10mm Masonry Drill Bit, 10mm Open Ended Spanner.

Materials Needed

Grey Rawl Plugs.

Step 1: Measure Where The Shelf Will Be Fitted

Choose where your shelf is to be installed, on your wall, and mark the centre line of where it will be. Mark a level line on the wall using a spirit level. Measure from one end of the shelf to each of the bracket holes and transfer the measurements onto the wall.
