Preparing to Paint

Set a ladder so that you can reach the facia and soffit boards comfortably, scrape any loose paint that may be present using a handheld scraper. Use low grit sandpaper to sand the areas that where scraped to keep consistency.

Painting the Facia and Soffit Boards

Apply the paint with a brush using short strokes, continue to work your way around until you complete the project. Allow the paint to dry over twenty four hours.
