Measuring and drawing

Measure were you have to cut on the tile and then use a pencil to mark it exactly where it needs to be cut, drawing and measuring are to give you an idea how far and what shape you have to cut.

Placing the Tile

Place the tile on the solid side so that the decorative side is facing away from you, it’s always best to put something underneath the tile so it does not get scratched or damaged.

Cutting

The most effective way of cutting your tile is do it with a workbench preferably with a clamp so no damage is caused to you, it is advised to wear safety goggles and gloves. Once you have the position hold your saw firmly and slowly cut the tile, try not to go to quick or you may miss your pencil line. You can either saw all the way through the tile, or saw half way and break the tile off with pressure for an easier job.
