Light Bulb.

Safety First

Firstly it is important that you make sure that the light fixture is turned OFF Secondly, allow the light bulb to cool down 30 seconds or more to prevent you from burning yourself.

Removing the Light Bulb

There are two types of light fittings - a Bayonet and a Screw fitting. Bayonet: Gently but firmly grip the light bulb whilst pushing upwards, then rotate the bulb counter clockwise until the bulb is released from the socket. Screw fitting: Take hold of the light bulb gently but firmly whilst rotating it counter clockwise until it is released from the socket.

Inserting the New Light Bulb

After making sure you have the right bulb with the right wattage (which can be displayed on the previous light bulb), place the new bulb into the socket, depending on its type rotate it clockwise until it feels snug in place.

Power Restoration

Once you have successfully inserted the new light bulb, make sure power is on and switch on the light.

Disposing of the Old Light Bulb

As the old light bulb is glass, it makes it very fragile and if broken it could cause harm due to sharp edges. To prevent it from breaking and causing harm to anyone, use the packaging from the new bulb then safely dispose of it and keep out of reach of children.
