Tools Needed

Philips Screwdriver or a Drill Driver, Level, Pencil, Tape Measure, Hammer Drill (if hanging to a concrete wall).

Materials Needed

Self Drill, Plasterboard Fixings or Brown Plugs and Screws.

Step 1 : Where You Want Your Picture To Go

Put a small mark on your wall where you want your picture to go. You should mark the middle and top. When marking the top, take into consideration where your hooks are placed on your picture frame and adjust accordingly.

Step 2 : Measure and Mark

If you have two hooks like we have on either side of your picture, take a measurement from the centre of your hook to the centre of the other hook. Our measurement is 760mm. Now divide this by 2 which gives us 380mm.

Step 3 : Make Sure Its Level

Now from your centre mark on your wall, mark off your divided measurements (ours is 380mm) both left and right of your centre mark. Now taking your level, make sure these marks are both level with each other and also at the height you want your picture to hang.

Step 4 : Place A Fixing

If you’re fixing to a concrete wall, drill and plug your holes using a hammer drill. If it's plasterboard, then screw the plug part in. I recommend using a Philips screwdriver for this process. Once done, screw your screw in leaving around 5mm unscrewed. You should do this whether you’re using brown plugs or self drives.

Step 5 : Hang Your Picture

Now carefully place your hooks onto the screws and check to see whether it's level. If your picture is large, then you should get a set of extra hands to help you hang this on the wall.
