Silicone/Sealant Remover, Safety Goggles, Gloves and a Scraper

Precautions

The best way to remove silicone is to use a silicone remover, this remover will attach to the silicone and loosen it from whatever it’s attached to, before you use this it’s best to make sure you are wearing gloves and safet goggles, preferably disposable gloves.

Using the silicone remover

Attach your silicone remover to your sealant gun and slowly put it on top of the silicone in a line, don’t use much as it will be a pain to remove afterwards. After you have applied your remover you will need to leave it for as long as the manufacturer’s instructions tell you to leave it for.

Removing the silicone

Afterwards put on your gloves and goggles then use a scraper to remove the silicone from where it is placed, make sure to slowly use it so none of the silicone remover or silicone goes unnoticed.

Disposal
